Smiles

Sam has been smiling for a little while now. I think her official first smiles were in Michigan when she was 3-4 weeks old. The picture above is one I caught on camera yesterday. She especially likes it when you praise her, then you get a giggle and a smile. Needless to say, she is going to think she is amazing pretty soon with all the praise she is getting.

She also loves the lights and music on her bouncy seat. She will sit in there for a long time and just giggle. We've learned to use this during shower time. I am trying to get a video of it, but haven't had any luck yet. I think it's pretty cute. I might be biased though.

6 Weeks

Sam is 6 weeks old today. She is getting so much more fun every day. She is smiling now, and when she gets excited her hands and feet wave like crazy. She will mimic us when we stick out our tongue at her. She loves lights, especially the lights on her bouncy seat that flash with the music.

She went to daycare for the first time Friday for a couple hours. She did great, I was a little bit nervous, but everything went great. I know she will be in good hands.

I go back to work on August 31st. I am going to try to get as much quality time as possible in with her this week. I think a trip to the zoo is in order, and we'll have to figure out some other fun stuff to do together. I am ready to go back to work, but I wish I could take her with me.

I have a lot of pictures to add, I just need to find the time to do it. Hopefully tomorrow.
